Just recently, God gifted us with a 72 degree, record breaking day, and with it, a taste of spring rose up in our hearts! A hope-filled expectancy of beautiful things to come. Windows open, sunglasses on, walking shoes ready. People everywhere came out of their homes to experience fresh air and the hope of spring! And then, just like that, the freezing cold of winter came rumbling back the very next day. Blowing wind, icy roads, snow falling. Winter returned full force.

This photo was taken in Peru from the perspective of standing on top of a mountain and looking down at the winding path through the darkest of valleys. I can remember all of us standing upon this mountain and being so in awe of God's greatness in creation that we could do nothing more than praise God! We sang the song, "Great are you God." The words... "And all the earth will shout Your praise.

The Fall Men's and Women's Weekends are officially complete! God is good! As always God showed up and lives were changed! So many worked so hard to make these weekends special. When the DeColores community comes together God is glorified!

"Part of what makes God great is that he is just as much a God of the entire universe as He is the God who has known you intimately from before there was time. He is also faithful (I Cor. 1:9), eternal (Deut. 33:27), holy (Isa. 5:16), and any number of other descriptors we can come up with using our feeble vocabulary. And yet He is infinitely more than any of these characterizations.
